Linkin Park has released “Lost”, featuring Chester Bennington too.

American rock group hails from Agoura Hills in California. In the band’s current lineup, which includes all original members, are drummer Rob Bourdon, lead guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, and rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda. Former band members Mark Wakefield and Chester Bennington both sing.

The new released song “Lost” features former band member, Chester Bennington too. Bennington had passed away in the year 2017. On July 20th a week before Linkin Park was scheduled to embark on a 29-date North American tour, he was discovered dead in his Palos Verdes Estates home in Los Angeles County on the morning hanging. This has made all the fans very emotional about the new song.

The remaining band members, including Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahn, and Mike Shinoda, have hinted that a song was on the way.

The 20th anniversary version of “Meteora” by Linkin Park, which debuted on April 7, will include “Lost,” which was published on Friday.

Shinoda compared discovering “Lost” to discovering a favourite photograph you had forgotten you had shot, saying it seemed to be waiting for the proper time to surface.

The song’s accompanying animated music video features Chester Bennington. The band last played together in 2017 during a memorial performance for Chester Bennington.

Up until this year, I’ve been doing a lot of writing and producing for other people. And I recently kind of got the bug to do it for myself again, do have a new song that’s gonna be in the movie Scream. What happened is they had reached out about: ‘Will you help us with music for the movie?’ And in the conversation I played them something and they were like, ‘Oh my god, can we use that?’” added Shinoda.
